My new favorite crave: Sour Dough Havarti, chicken, and basil hot sandwhich.

Ingredients:
Sour Dough French Bread
Bacon Blue Cheese Lite House Dressing and Dip
Havarti cheese
Left over or fresh grilled chicken (I used left over costco rotiserry chicken meat. Mmmm.)
Sliced Tomato
A few leafs of fresh basil
Sliced avacodo
Either lettuce, or green sprouts
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Butter one side of the bread place on heated skillet. Smear Light house dressing on the other side of the bread and layer ingredients in the order listed above, and bite in and enjoy. Mmmmm. It's so good. I've had it twice already this week.

Snowfall February 1, 2011

Because I cannot figure out how to make these pictures go where I want I will put the first wave pictures first. Snow wave.

Part of the snow fort the misionaries made on Tues. afternoon. It is actually pretty neat. Too bad there are no little kids to play in there.

The main part of the fort. This took about 10 minutes to make because all the snow was drifted up against the house.

And now look at this wave of ice. If it were blue you would think it was water in the ocean. Too bad my photography skills aren't that great.
We might be snow free by July. More snow is forecast--just what we need. This is fun, this is fun, this is fun. Thought I would try the "Little Engine that Could" philosophy.

Take that Giardia!

Amber kindly recommended a little hike up past Vivian park. We enjoyed the fall leaves and the cool refreshing water from Big Springs. Speaking of, I didn't get any giardia, did anybody else? For the record, Mom, we don't normally go around drinking straight out of the river. After a thorough and thoughtful investigation, we all decided the water was ok. Group think, quite possibly so, and yet, I was so hot and thirsty, I might have still had a sip despite our scientific conclusions.

Hills on fire (but thankfully not Boulder-style)

Attempting a girl picture before the sun went down.

Danny and Aly return to the wheat field where they took their some announcement pictures.

Amber & Danny looking all tan. Oh wait, they really are.

Where might this path lead? Ah, into a bunch of orange trees.

Thank you Archie for obliging me.

All done. You may want to zoom into this picture and look at how filthy Aly's and Amber's feet are. I was the only one to rinse off in the river post hike. Not a good idea. Water + dirt = muddy flip flops
